Brownies

Ingredients:

1/3 cup
1 cup
1/2 cup
2/3 cup
2 cups
1 tsp

All-purpose flour
Water
Butter softened
Unsweetened cocoa powder
Sugar
Vanilla Extract
All-purpose flour
Baking Powder
Salt

Chopped Walnut

Preheat oven at 370F. Grease a 9x13 inch pan. In a heavy saucepan combine a 1/3 cup of flour and water. Cook over medium heat until thick. Transfer to a mixing bowl and set aside to cool.

In a small sauce pan melt butter. add cocoa and mix until smooth. Set aside to cool. Beat the sugar and vanilla into the flour mixture. Stir in the cocoa mixture until well blended. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into the batter until just blended. Spread chopped walnuts evenly in the prepared pan.

Bake for 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before cutting into bars.
