Came to Loj. Entry into
the sampraday today known as Swaminarayan Sampraday. During
his last 7 years, He was asked to join or take over several
religious missions, He did not accept any of them. Being
Godhead, He knew exactly where He wanted to stay, but Muktanand
Swami impressed Him with his manners, humbleness and knowledge. |

First meeting with Ramanand
Swami in Piplana. Ramanand Swami was then the head/founder
of the Sampraday. When he got the news about arrival of
Nilkanth Varni at Loj, he instructed his followers to go to
Loj for Nilkanth Varni's darshan instead of coming to Bhuj where
he was! |
October 16, 1801 A.D., Kartik Sud 11, Samvat

Accepted the leadership of
the Sampraday from Ramanand Swami, the current leaer.
Notice that he was just 21 years old when He accepted the leadership
of the existing sampraday. In next 30 years, He established
foundations for millions like us to get salvstion. |
June 1, 1830 A.D., Jeth Sud 10, Samvat 1886
Age: 49 Yr. |
In days leading to June 1,
1830, He called few meetings of followers of the time and expressed
that He had completed the goals He had for his visit to the
Earth and He intends to wrap up his visit to the Earth.
He instructed his followers aboutwhat to do in His physical
absence and to be sure that he will be ever present to protect
and please them. He left his body on June 1, 1830. |
